Annual allowance
Recipients of pensions also receive annual allowance once a year. Annual allowance is a cash benefit, the amount of which depends on the level of the pension received by a beneficiary.
Those recipients who were insured for a narrower scope of entitlements for most of their insurance period are not entitled to annual allowance.
When determining the amount of one’s annual allowance, the amount of the part of the widow-er’s pension, the survivor’s pension in relation to the second parent and that of the pension received from a foreign pension or disability insurance provider are taken into account, in addition to the beneficiary’s own pension. The amount of the annual allowance depends on the sum total of these benefits received.
The amount of the annual allowance is set by the law governing implementation of the budget.
